Treat rinse water and wastewater from surface treatment lines.

Water treatment chemicals for surface treatment and plating plants: pH adjustment and neutralisation, heavy-metal precipitation, coagulants and flocculants, chromium(VI) reduction and cyanide treatment.

Products

We supply the chemicals for these processes; series names and technical data are shared per application.

  • pH adjustment and neutralisation

Acids and alkalis that bring acidic and alkaline rinse water to the pH needed for treatment and discharge.

  • Heavy-metal precipitation

Precipitants that turn dissolved metals such as zinc, nickel and copper into insoluble solids that can be separated.

  • Coagulants and flocculants

Coagulants that destabilise fine particles and flocculants that gather them into flocs that settle or filter easily.

  • Chromium(VI) reduction

Reducing agents that convert hexavalent chromium in rinse water and spent solutions to trivalent chromium, which can then be precipitated.

  • Cyanide treatment

Oxidising agents that destroy cyanide in rinse water and spent solutions before the metals are precipitated.
